(Reglamento General de Policía de Espectáculos Públicos
y Actividades Recreativas ) are approved:
a. Entry is prohibited to persons under 16 years of
age. The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited to
persons under 18 years of age. All persons are required to carry their
identity card.
b. The right to refuse admission may be exercised with
regard to any person whose attitude or presence may be considered inappropriate,
offensive or violent or who shows signs of being under the influence
of alcohol and/or drugs.
c. It is prohibited to bring drugs or any other illegal
substances, audio and/or video recorders, weapons or blunt, sharp or
dangerous instruments onto the festival site.
Introduction: Before arriving at the Festival, it is
important that you check which car park you should leave your vehicle
in. The car park allocated to you will depend on the region that you
are travelling from. Remember that car park 1 is for traffic coming
from the north and east and that car park 2 is for traffic coming from
the centre and south of Spain. There is also a Coach Park for official
and authorised coaches and buses.
1- Buy your advance ticket only from authorised outlets,
web sites and telephone sales networks. Only official tickets will be
valid for entry to the festival. Beware of possible fakes. On entry
to the festival you will be given an ID bracelet.
2- Entry to the site can be a slow process, so we recommend
that you exercise prudence and patience. It is likely that there will
be queues and slight hold-ups, so we recommend that you arrive at the
festival on time.
3- The festival gates open at 17.00.
4- Once you enter the site from the N-II highway you
are on private property and we may exercise the right to refuse admission
at any time, even before entering the site on which the Monegros Desert
Festival is held.
5- It is strictly prohibited to bring alcoholic beverages
of any type onto the site and this prohibition is applicable from the
moment that you enter the site, including the car parks. If you are
found bringing alcoholic beverages onto the site, the beverages will
be removed from the vehicle and will not be returned to you until the
event has finished.
6- The car parks are reserved solely for people attending
the festival. Vans or other vehicles from which items are intended to
be sold will be denied access to the site. Any vehicle suspected of
being used for this purpose will be denied access to the car parks.
7- Each of the rows in the car parks will be signposted
and assigned a color. We recommend that you take note of the colour
assigned to your car park zone as this will make it easier for you to
locate your vehicle when you leave the festival. Please remember that
the car parks can begin to look very different as more vehicles arrive.
The only useful points of reference are the signposts. Once you have
parked your vehicle in the site car park, you will not be able to move
it again during the Festival, except to definitively leave the site.
8- Under no circumstances will you be permitted to
leave the festival site before 04.00. Leaving the site before this time
will require you to buy another ticket if you wish to return.

9-
Before entering the site, all backpacks, bags and packages will be searched
in compliance with the law. You should be willing to submit to a body
search by our legally authorised security staff prior to entry to the
festival site. Refusal to submit to a body search will result in you
being denied entry to the site.
10- As you pass through the ticket booth prior to entering
the site you will be given a bracelet that identifies you as a festivalgoer.
It is obligatory for you to put this bracelet on before entering the
festival and it should be worn on your wrist all the time that you remain
on the festival site. This bracelet is proof that you have bought a
ticket and, at the same time, is used to control entry and exit. The
ticket itself is not accepted as valid proof within the site, only the
bracelet is accepted.
11- Once through the ticket booths, you will be given
a small piece of festival merchandising as a souvenir. This year you
will also be given free San Miguel beer on
entry.
12- The festival information desk, close to the entrance,
will have several maps of the site showing the location of each stage
and where all of the site services and facilities can be found. The
lay-out will not be very different to the map that you will have seen
on flyers or on the website. However, it will be fully updated with
any last-minute changes to the site infrastructure. On entering the
festival site, take note of the location of the following: Red Cross,
free drinking water, emergency exits, festival information desk, etc.
Also, use the map to avoid blockages at certain points on the site.
For example, many people will run to queue at the nearest Monegrinos
change booth and then at the nearest bar to get their first drink. However,
a quick look at the map will show you that there are other equivalent
points on the site that are likely to be much less congested (Monegrinos
change booths, bars, food stalls, merchandising shop, etc.).
13- You will only be able to buy drinks at the bars
using Monegrinos. Monegrinos should be bought at the change booths,
which are distributed throughout the site. We recommend that you buy
all of the Monegrinos that you are going to need in one go to avoid
later having to queue again. One Monegrino is worth one euro and it
is the festival's only official currency. There will not be any paper
drinks coupons: Monegrinos (and not euros) will be used as money at
the food and drink stalls.
14- You will be able to buy items and cigarettes from
the merchandising shop using both Monegrinos and euros, or even using
a combination of both currencies. Credit cards will also be accepted.
15- There will be a food stalls at the 2006 edition
of the Monegros Desert Festival and these will be duly marked on the
maps located around the site.
16- It is prohibited to bring material onto the site
that may be used to make digital audio or video recordings. Photographic
material (cameras) is permitted on the site. The festival shop will
also sell disposable cameras with a built-in flash.
17- Just inside the festival site is a cloakroom where
you can leave your backpacks, bags and packages.
18- Please note that the relevant authorities will
perform breath tests on people entering and leaving the festival. We
recommend that you drink alcohol in moderation, especially if you are
the driver of a vehicle.
19- Anyone arriving at the festival by bus should take
note of the vehicle registration number and the time that it is due
to depart. We will not be liable for anyone who is late for their bus.
